Trump wants a $400 million dollar tricked out palace plane

QATAR GIVES TRUMP A GIFT

Trump is breaking The U.S. Constitution's emoluments: The clause generally prohibits

government officials from accepting gifts from foreign governments without Congressional

approval.

President Donald Trump on Sunday appeared to confirm reports that his administration will

accept a Boeing 747-8 luxury plane from the royal family in Qatar to be used as Air Force

One and dismissed concerns about one of the largest foreign gifts ever given to the U.S.

government saying it would be a “public and transparent transaction.”

A foreign emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution states “no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any

present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or

foreign State.

Trump’s administration had already determined it is legal for the Defense Department to

accept the plane and later give it to Trump’s library. Of course he has, he does not follow

any law that has been on the books which every other president has followed before him.

Trump seems to do what he wants when he wants. Trump appointed MAGA cult follower Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a legal memo last week to the White House counsel office saying it would be “legally permissible” for Qatar to condition the donation with the fact that it must be donated to Trump’s library before his term is up.

Why would any of these people follow the rule of law? Does the fool not understand that the plane could be bugged with technology, used to spy on the US. Guess not.. Trump gives away  Secret documents, Top Secret Documents, gives up our spys. The list goes on.

As we know, Air Force One can technically be any Air Force aircraft carrying the president,

but it’s mainly associated with two planes that are part of the president’s air travel

fleet, and both are “specially configured Boeing 747-200B's,” according to the Air Force

and Boeing. Beyond differing from Boeing’s standard 747 in terms of plane capacity, the Air Force One planes have different “electronic and communications equipment,” a self-contained baggage loader, air-stairs and it can refuel in-flight. It has a stateroom and office for the president, and a conference/dining room, along with separate accommodations for guests,  staff and media.

The so called gift from Qatar would have to be retrofitted to meet the Air Force One

standards for security. An unnamed Defense Department official said it would take a while

to secure a contract to make the upgrades, and then actually modify the plane, this would

take years, not months. So why take something so useless, the answer to that question is

simple because Trump thinks it’s a big deal. Trump and his family does special business

deals, favors with the Middle East, all increasing their bank account at the expense of the

American taxpayers.

This plane costs $400 million. That’s about how much a Boeing 747-8 plane costs.

No American President should take any gift from foreign countries no matter how little or

how big. It requires favors and Trump has no qualms of doing favors to better his family

coffers.

President Lincoln declined the offer of elephants from the King of Siam.

Former President George W. Bush was unable to keep a dog gifted to him by a foreign

government, citing the emoluments clause. A simple dog compared to the values of a tricked out plane.

Trump wants a new plane and Boing is about 5 years late in delivering a new Airforce One.

The fool does not understand the security and technology it requires for the US Presidents

planes require.

The plane, which is so opulently configured it is known as "a flying palace, it is a must

for the New American King.

If Trump wants the plane let him pay the appraised value to keep it. $400 million will

cover the cost. He can take possession of the plane after he leaves office.
