George Santos, A star in the Republican Party’s Crown.

Beware of George Santos

Rep. George Santos, the embattled Republican Congressman from Long Island, has now been accused of sexual misconduct and an ethics violation by a prospective staffer,30-year-old Derek Myers who detailed the allegations Friday.

Santos allegedly asked Myers on Jan. 25 if he had a profile on Grindr, which is a popular LGBTQ+ dating app. Santos then supposedly told Myers that he had a profile on Grindr too. Soon afterward, Myers alleged that he was in Santos' office reviewing mail, and Santos invited him to sit next to him on a sofa.

Meyers ignored Santos and continued on with his office work, I proceeded to move forward with a discussion about the mail, but the Congressman stopped me by placing his hand on my left leg, near my knee and saying, "Hey buddy, we're going to karaoke tonight. Would you like to go?

Myers said he refused the invitation, and that Santos then allegedly "proceeded to take his hand and move it down my leg into my inner-thigh and proceeded to touch my groin." Myers said Santos told him that his husband was out of town, and then invited him over.

I quickly pushed the Congressman's hand away and grabbed the mail from the table and proceeded to discuss the topic of constituent correspondence," I then left the room.

On Jan. 30, Meyers was called into the Congressman's office, and asked about his "background as a journalist. "I was questioned about matters that had already been disclosed in my conversations with hiring managers from the Congressman's office prior to my job offer. On Wednesday, Feb. 1, I was informed that my job offer was being rescinded."

Wow! you don’t let Santos play feely with your groin so you get fired.

Meyers had a bit of his own problems

Rep. George Santos, the embattled Republican Congressman from Long Island, has now been accused of sexual misconduct and an ethics violation by a prospective staffer, who detailed the allegations on Twitter on Friday.

"This is not about attention; it's about holding the actions accountable," the accuser, 30-year-old Derek Myers, told CBS News.

Santos' Congressional office referred questions to his attorney, Joe Murray, who declined to comment.

According to a letter Myers sent the House Ethics Committee, the 34-year-old Santos allegedly asked him on Jan. 25 if he had a profile on Grindr, a popular LGBTQ+ dating app. Santos then allegedly told Myers that he had a profile on Grindr, Myers said in the letter.

Later that day, Myers alleged that he was in Santos' office reviewing mail, and Santos invited him to sit next to him on a sofa.

"I proceeded to move forward with a discussion about the mail, but the Congressman stopped me by placing his hand on my left leg, near my knee and saying, "Hey buddy, we're going to karaoke tonight. Would you like to go?" Myers wrote in the letter.

Myers said he declined the invitation, and that Santos then allegedly "proceeded to take his hand and move it down my leg into my inner-thigh and proceeded to touch my groin." Myers said Santos told him that his husband was out of town, and then invited him over.

"I quickly pushed the Congressman's hand away and grabbed the mail from the table and proceeded to discuss the topic of constituent correspondence," Myers said in the letter. "Shortly thereafter, I left the personal office and returned to my desk."

Myers wrote that days later, on Jan. 30, he was called into the Congressman's office, and asked about his "background as a journalist."

"I was questioned about matters that had already been disclosed in my conversations with hiring managers from the Congressman's office prior to my job offer. On Wednesday, Feb. 1, I was informed that my job offer was being rescinded."

Last year, Myers, the Editor-in-Chief of local Ohio news website Scioto Valley Guardian, was charged with felony wiretapping by the Pike County Sheriff's office after his outlet published audio leaked from a murder trial. The Committee to Protect Journalists denounced the charges. Myers says he pleaded not guilty, and after sixty days of no indictment being brought, the case was automatically dismissed under Ohio's criminal rules of procedure.

Myers has requested an investigation from the House Ethics committee, and also  has filed a police report with the Capitol police.

All the previous claims made against Santos for lying, was made prior to him taking office and is not enough to get his removed unless convicted for election fraud. But these claims made against him of sexual misconduct will be enough to get him removed from office if found guilty.

Santos used Meyers previous allegation charges from 2022 to let him go even though he was not charged. The hiring managers and senior staff were aware of my history as a journalist and the 2022 controversy. They had no issues with the allegations. Then why did they change their thoughts now, by the directive from Santos, I think is simply because Santos was retaliating against Meyers for not allowing his sexual advance.

New York State and federal prosecutors have disclosed investigations related to Santos, he is the objective of complaints to the Federal Election Commission and the House Ethics Committee over alleged campaign spending. The FBI is also investigating Santos' alleged role in purporting to raise funds for a veteran's dying dog, which has been all over social media and news outlets.

Santos lies whiche has been caight in, there are probably countless others

1. He lied about where he went to high school …

2. Santos claims he graduated with a degree in economics and finance from Baruch College in 2010.

3. A “star” on the Baruch volleyball team

4. Spent time at New York University,

5. he worked at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, but representatives for both companies told the Times they had no record of his employment.

6. inflated resumé claiming that he graduated in the top one percent of his class at Baruch, earned an M.B.A. at NYU, and was able to double the revenue on the project he worked on at Goldman:

7. filed a disclosure showing a salary of $55,000 working as a vice-president at a business-development company called LinkBridge Investors, where he says he introduced investors to hedge-fund managers, in truth Santos was just a “freelancer” who sold sponsorships for events and worked on commission.

8. investment firm called Harbor City Capital. When he was employed there in 2020, Santos said he managed a $1.5 billion fund and bragged of “record returns” of 12 to 26 percent, depending on the type of investment. A complete bank guarantee on investments Deutsche Bank claims it is a complete fraud and not signed by the bank officer on the document,” they wrote. Santos replied that they were “100% legitimate.

9. Had has own company called Devolder, dissolved in 6 months, Devolder had no public website or LinkedIn page, and on his campaign financial disclosure, he did not list any clients. In a campaign bio, Santos once described Devolder as his “family’s firm” and said it was managing $80 million in assets.  Sometimes, Santos would even go by the name Anthony Devolder. Weird huh?

10. Never registered with the Federal Election Commission where he got his campaign donations, changing from oh its my own money.

11. Loads of so-called donations come from people who don’t actually exist or claim not to have sent him any money, like Santos’s cousin who was “dumbfounded” by their alleged $5,800 pledge. Liar, Liar

12. charges in Brazil for check fraud,

13. He also lied about founding an animal charity. Friends of pets United, not registered, take checks written to his charity and cash them out under his pseudonym, Anthony Devolder.

14. Santos also allegedly stole money from a disabled veteran who came to him for help fund a life-saving surgery for his dog, $3,000.used the name named Anthony Devolder.

15. He became the first openly gay nonincumbent Republican elected to Congress. His campaign bio discussed his husband, with whom he lives in Long Island along with four dogs. But Santos never appeared on the campaign trail with his partner, and the Daily Beast could not find a marriage record in New York. He did divorce a woman in 2019.

16. In 2014 — five years before his divorce from the woman — Santos sent Facebook invites to friends celebrating an “engagement dinner” with his boyfriend at the time. Santos’s former boyfriend said the party never happened because he did not say yes to the proposal

17. his mother’s death was related to 9/11. She did shortly after 911 , She was not even there, she passed 15 years later,

18. His grandmother was definitely not a Holocaust victim.

19. And he did not have employees who died in the Pulse shooting.

20. “Jew-ish” or Jewish

21. Drag Queen or not, Santos aspired to be Miss Gay Rio de Janeiro and that he was regularly participating in drag pageants.

22. Anthony Devolder claims that, following a successful drag career, he landed roles on Disney Channel shows such as Hannah Montana and Suite Life of Zack & Cody. After his stint in TV, the Santos bio then states that he hit the big screen with a role in a movie called The Invasion starring Uma Thurman — even though Thurman never appeared in a movie under that name.

23. Santos claimed to some donors that he helped produce Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark,

24. a journalist in Brazil? Nope!

25. Was he really the target of an ‘assassination’ in December? Nope!

Santos is a liar, and creep and should not be in Congress, making decisions regarding our Republic, It would appear that the Republican party is a party of such people. But even they should get him out.
