Not Republican, but the Party of Trump
When you hear the term crazy old people you think of old people driving their cars at 35 mph, or the idea that most old people can’t hear so they get everything screwed up, or you have to constantly repeat what you said twenty times before the old duffers get it. Well this is not entirely the case; the only part that fits in the term associated with the article below is the “crazy” part. There's a sort of time warp going on at The Villages, the enormous retirement community in Florida. On streets made up to look like small-town Main Streets, it's maybe an idealized, slickly varnished version of the 1950s, all aligned with legions of golf carts. At a hotel ballroom on Friday night, it was something like 2017.When Trump brainwashed the weak minded. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled to a packed ballroom of mostly maskless supporters. "I just got to check something; I just want to make sure I'm in the right place. Tell me, who is your president? “Donald Trump!” They yelled in response. That's my president, too," she said. What the hell is the matter with these people? Trump lost the election plain and simple. They can recount the votes over and over and the out come has been the same Biden won! Trump lost! You can have the Ninja’s look for bamboo shreds on the ballots which the most ignorant among us believe that China secretly flew 40 thousand ballots into Arizona to throw the election and the ballots were made with bamboo. And Ling- Ling the Panda bear was the secret spy too. For gods sake these people belong in the cuckoo ward. Greene, the freshman congresswoman from Georgia, was there with Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz to kick off what they say will be a series of America First rallies. Greene is the congresswoman who made the comment about Jewish lasers, Greene suggested that the 2018 California wildfires were started by space lasers controlled by the Rothschild banking firm, instead of something more probable like climate change. She is also a QAnon conspiracy theorist, her glorifying violence against Democratic politicians, supporting anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, and displaying disturbing thoughts about school shootings. Then she tried to back track her one comment by saying she didn't know the Rothschilds were Jewish until recently — it might just as well have been non-Jewish people who started the wildfires with space lasers. Just as nutty. Then she went on with this weird remark, Greene voted against the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act. To explain her vote, she made a transphobic argument on Twitter, writing that the bill would be a violation of "girls and women's rights by destroying God's creation, male and female. Gaetz has an array of serious allegations against him, including sex with a teenage girl. The Justice Dept. has an on going investigation. He is a Florida politician indicted on a charge of sex trafficking, under aged girl over the state line, an alleged extortion attempt targeting Gaetz, a CIA officer who went missing in Iran, a $25 million payout, Gaetz’s dad wearing a wire. And of course Gaetz denies the allegations against him. His sharing nude photos of his purported sex partners with other members of Congress (including while on the floor of the House), a Times follow-up report alleging that Gaetz took illegal drugs and the release of a bizarre voice mail Gaetz and the aforementioned indicted politician, Joel Greenberg, left for a Florida state legislator. The Villages isn't in Gaetz's district, or even Greene's state. But it is full of their people, which is to say, Trump's people. The three counties that make up The Villages voted for him last year at rates around 60% or more. These folks don’t care what these two crazy’s say or do/did. These old crazy people have drank enough Trump Kool Aide to last them the rest of their lives, and while they continue to chug down the orange Kool Aid they plan on taking down the rest of the country with them once more in the next Presidential election in 4 years and other various senate and house races in between. These two Trump stooges are out trying to add support for Chaneys removal from her leadership role in the House. The GOP is angry at Chaney because she called bullshit on Trumps Big Lie. In other words you cannot question or criticize the GOP on any issue. Chaney stood up for the truth and now is being punished by her own party for putting the country over the Lies. Gaetz went on to attack Chaney by saying, She's sort of for every war: war in Syria — for it," he added, referencing her 2019 disagreement with Trump's decision to remove troops from that country. "War against Trump and his supporters — for it. War against the Republican conference; war against her own voters. The opposition to Cheney isn't her ideology she has a deeply conservative voting record what they hate about her is….she voted for Trump's impeachment and has repeatedly repudiated the lie that the 2020 election was rigged or stolen for President Biden. And to be in the GOP these days you have to lie more than usual. Some of their most fiery attacks were reserved for those fellow Republicans who aren't unfailingly loyal to Trump. In other words you either support the party when they are wrong or you are not part of the party and are not welcome to be in the party. If any republican wants to bring our party back to the days of Mitt Romney and John Kasich ... I'm not going back," Gaetz said, to loud boos from the crowd. "This is Donald Trump's party, and I'm a Donald Trump Republican. For Gaetz and Greene, a part of being Trump Republicans is adopting Trump's rhetorical strategies. Much like Trump, they talked a lot about their perceived enemies. And also like Trump, they gave a sense that being more embattled only makes them more defiant. Gaetz, for example, winkingly referenced an array of serious allegations against him, including sex with a teenage girl, as a way of slamming the media. Going on to say the media will make something out of the fact there are beautiful women at the rally, trying to make himself the victim. Greene, meanwhile, bragged about being stripped of her committee assignments after social media activity that promoted violence, racism and false conspiracy theories. She wore that punishment as a badge of honor, talking about how she decided to slow down House floor activities. WOW what a piece of work this woman is, a total nut job, she belongs in the looney bin. And Just where the rest of the GOP belongs since a majority of Republicans, believe the lie that the election was stolen or rigged. Is the GOP is stuck with Trump? No their not stuck, they want that crazy rat bastard as their leader, because he is what the republican really stands for. Hate, racism, superiority over poor and people of color. Privileged people should rule over poor people. Etc… The GOP as we used to know it no longer exists, the days of some sort of respect, honoring the country, putting the country over party is gone, the ability to work across the aisle is gone. What the GOP stands for now is the party of hate, pure and simple hate, greed and Hitler like government and country. I sure hope the majority of Americans continue to see through trumps Lies and his hate and this country can get back to some sort of civility, across the nation. We are better than Trumps ideology by far.
