Promoting The Big Lie
Marjorie Taylor Greene is the ultra-right, conspiracy-spouting congresswoman from northwest Georgia. This woman has declared that all the school shootings were staged and fake. She has also made the comments that Jewish space aliens sent lasers down to earth to start the forest fires in California. What the hell is wrong with people voting from her? She is bat shit crazy. She has attacked her fellow colleagues to the point which has caused her fellow senators to ask to have their offices moved away from her. Greene has refused to go through metal detectors at the US Capitol, she wants to bring guns into the capitol. She is a danger to other Senators and many others who work at the Capitol. Republican leaders helped Greene win the seat she holds and, this week, rewarded her with an appointment to the House Education and Labor Committee. Allowing her to be on ny committee is dangerous and plain stupid. Republican leaders have remained quiet on her stupid remarks, and inflammatory words. She has called for violence against prominent Democrats, harassed Sandy Hook survivors. She is an absolute nut and the Republican Party supports her. Shows you the moral and integrity of the Republican Party. A comprehensive look at Greene's Facebook before she ran for office, finding she "liked" a comment in January 2019 that said Pelosi should be taken out with a "bullet to the head." In a video around that time, Greene said Pelosi was "a traitor to our country, she's guilty of treason," saying it was "a crime punishable by death." Democrats were already upset about her previously known support of the QAnon conspiracy movement, the far-right fringe movement that baselessly claims a group of cannibalism, "deep-state" cabal of pedophiles tried to bring down then-President Donald Trump. She won’t pay much of a price given the party's continued loyalty to Trump and the anger many GOP voters feel over an election they falsely believe was stolen from Trump. It’s a sad day in America when crazy people have become the norm in the republican party, a party which helps make policy for the rest of Americans. Green continues to spew crazy remarks, insinuated ahead of last year’s election that violence could eventually become necessary if Republicans lose, claiming Americans may need to reclaim freedom with “the price of blood” in an interview unearthed by Mother Jones Friday, capping off a week of allegations Greene has endorsed violence against her political opponents. In an interview one week before the November election, Greene told gun rights advocate Chris Dorr that “freedom is on the ballot,” and if voters fail to reelect President Donald Trump, Democrats could “end America as we know it.” She is promoting the BIG LIE, she is part of the problem with the division in the country, she promotes hate, violence, and supported the insurrection that was made against the US Capitol, which killed 5 people injured many and degraded our Republic, destroyed public property which all of us own. Her disrespect and disregard for The Constitution and The Rule of law will continue to keep the country in distress. The Big Lie was told over and over. Presented on Fox News and other conservative media shows. As they say you tell a lie often enough pretty soon it becomes reality not the truth but the reality of the day. Trump told his lies from day one, and those of weaker minds, haters of people of color and haters of liberals swallowed it hook , line and sinker. Trump told 30,573 lies on Twitter, at rallies and in interviews. If taken as an average, it would come out to 21 lies per day over his four-year term. Trump's claims to a unique ability to rescue America got an assist from a cadre of evangelical Christian preachers, authors, and government officials, former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders among them, who contended that he ruled by divine benediction -- that God installed him to do His will. This encouraged followers to believe that Trump's destiny was to stay in office. And he deserved a second term ordained by God. He used religion to promote his lies as most of his base are of religious zeal. Such crap, in its rawest form. Trump's purpose in his ceaseless lying was to get his followers to trust him alone as the referee of reality and to distrust everyone and everything else, especially the democratic system that stood in the way of his amassing sufficient power to become untouchable. It's the dictatorial way. While Trump is now gone from the White House, he is still trying to cause hate and discontent and control the political makeup of the country. Millions of his supporters still cling fiercely to his lies. Each lie deserves our attention as we seek to combat the mass disinformation that threatens our democracy. His followers will continue to cause division in the country and proved it so when they attacked the capitol. We need to make an example of those domestic terrorists and charge them with everything we can. The Republican Party needs to take their balls back, and put the Republic ahead of crazy zealots which has taken over their party. They need to stand up against THE BIG LIE, and bring some somewhat normal division in the country and government. They need to support the rule of law and the Constitution which has governed this country for the last 250 years effectively. The republicans need to stand up against hate, racism, and division. They need to stand up against the attack on the government and attacks against their colleagues. They need to hold their colleagues accountable who aided and abetted the insurrectionists. Those who were responsible. For without accountability it will happen again and again, some where some place across America. I never ever thought I would see the day when Americans acted like thugs from a third world country. I had more faith in my fellow citizens republican or not. I hope the nation can survive, and come back from this orange stain which has covered this great nation.
