Hi Readers,
I have been gone for a while, between being burnt out on politics, and trying to get my discs in my back fixed. I just didn’t feel like writing Tammy’s Takes. Well as Arnold has said, I’ll be back—and I’m back. Today like every other day in the past month or so, I have listened to the reporting on the pandemic. And like every other day, I get so pissed off I want to throw the cat through the T.V. when the so-called president of the United States, aka Cheeto, Yellow Turd, Dictator, Nazi, Agent Orange, Putin’s Bitch etc.. you get the drift ---the Nazi starts doing his Pandemic report. In his reporting he makes stupid remarks, speaks nonsense, lies, and then his –quote- team of doctors who specialize in virus’s have to correct his remarks. Making him look even more foolish, so bad that trump threatens to fire the most qualified virus specialist we have. His ignorance, his elite demur, his ramblings, about starting up the economy, amidst the pandemic, while thousands of people are dying every day across the US, more people getting infected, hospitals over flowing of infected people, and what does he think of? The economy. While we all understand the need of people to work and to get the country back on its feet, we have to do it in a way that we do not reintroduce the virus into a full blown war zone again. We have the virus a little bit stabilized right now in some places while some states have not even reached their peak. We do not want a surge in the virus. His attacks on Democratic governors of the “Blue States shows that he is a petty brat and will try and make people suffer because they did not vote for him. These Blue states are using science to begin the process of opening up. And will not adhere to his “gut feelings” on opening the states back up to business as usual. Blue States do not bow down to a dictator. His failure to help the states with testing is beyond normal thinking, testing was available in February, but Trumps refusal to act on the threat calling it a hoax. Trump is doing nothing to help the states, these states do not have the ability to deal internationally for any kind of needed medical supplies or meds, but the federal government does-- and that bastard refuses to do his god damn job. All Trump wants is.. every one to kiss his ass, praise him, like he is a fucking God. Furthermore he is using the virus as a campaign rally and a ribbon cutting at a construction site for a building that has not even been drawn on blue prints. His crazy tweets, attacking Governor Cuomo of New York, shows a unhinged human, stating they have the testing, which is not true, Trump refuses to get the testing, Trump does not want testing done because it would prove what a failure he is. He refuses to enact the manufacturing act, which if he did, Americans could get tested which would reduce transmission, which without the tests we cannot open up safely. Nations such as Germany and South Korea which are doing contact testing are doing much better than the US. Governor Cuomo of New York is quite the man in my opinion. I listen to his briefings every day, in fact I look forward to them. He speaks clear, honestly, and matter of factually. He explains what is happening in New York, the troubles with the federal government, and he also puts a personal touch, a human aspect of this pandemic. Cuomo also thanked the President for his help when given several times throughout the month and longer, but that is not enough for Cheeto in charge, Trump tweeted that Cuomo was not doing his job, Cuomo replied that he had done his job and was trying to do more , that if Trump had time to watch T.V. maybe he should be doing his job. Chetto wants to be thanked over and over. Cuomo got tired of Trumps bullshit and called him out on it, telling the president that he had thanked him and for what? doing his job. Cuomo went on to say that he didn’t know what the president wanted -- maybe a bouquet of flowers. Trump tried to tell Cuomo what New York was going to do via trumps orders, Cuomo responded that he knew the constitution and the 10th amendment, and suggested that the President read it. Thank you Governor Cuomo, for standing up to that rotten ignorant piece of human feces. You are a good man. There have been a few other good men and woman as well which have stood up against Trump they are… Governor Inslee of Washington, Governor Newsom of California, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmere, Governor Kate Brown of Oregon. The President will no doubt continue to try and belittle Gov. Cuomo and those who do not walk in lock step with his policies as this pandemic continues on. It’s sad that our country has such a president. Stay safe, use masks, stay home as much as you can, and we can get through this faster and always together.
