The moral right has finally been caught in lewd and disgusting conduct, which they have been engaged in for years but had managed to keep it covered up. These actions have finally come to light this past week when Rep. Mark Foley's electronic correspondence with teenagers was made public. The Justice Department has ordered all records to be preserved by Officials of the House. News media and elected officials probing into the events of who was involved, who knew what was going on and who ignored Foleys hideous actions, snowballed into a scandal, rocking Republicans five weeks before midterm elections.
The moral right who was quick to condemn Clinton for having an affair with Monica Lewensky a women of legal age, now they are scrambling to make excuses for Foley who had improper e-mails and possible contact with under age MALE pages. I find nothing unusual with the excuses that the moral right is inventing to save one of their own. Even the dastardliest will try and save face.
What I do have a Problem with is that the Republicans' are trying to blame the Democrats for their colleges heinous actions. The right never has taken the responsibility or faced up to the consequences of their actions. It has always been easier to blame others.
This group of people has never practiced what they preached, and now have a lot of soul searching to do, and muddy waters to clear before the moral right can have any faith in their party again.
The excuses that these fools are using range from Foley was molested when he was young, Foley is gay, and Foley is a drunk, and did not know what he was doing in fact he was drunk on those days that he propositioned the under aged boys not to forget that he voted on important issues on these days too.
Foley was instrumental in getting legislation passed that would allow the justice system to come down harder on child molesters, all the time he was one! and other Republican legislators knew this as well.
I hope the American people have a long memory and vote these hypocrites out of office this November.
