Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has taken it upon himself to save the fall elections for the Republican Party. Gingrich said in the coming days he plans to speak out publicly, and to the administration, about the need to recognize that America is in World War III.

Gingrich plans to save the same Republican controlled Congress that has been embroiled in the greatest questions of our time! No not out of control spending, huge growth in government, record deficits, health care cost that are out of this world, sky rocketing gas prices, oversight of a run away administration, instead they have been busy talking about Flag Burning, gay marriage and more tax cuts for the rich.

Gingrich said that public opinion can change "the minute you use the language" of World War III. The message then, he said, is "'OK, if we're in the third world war, which side do you think should win?" (Earth to Newt, Earth to Newt whose side do you think the American People will want to win?) I find it hard to believe there is actually someone dumber than Bush.

Let me get this strait in my own mind, we are engaged in a war right now that was chosen by this Republican Administration, led by George W. Bush and rubberstamped by the Republican led Congress. I have to ask myself, how is the war in Iraq going? Suicide bombers killing 20 to 60 innocents at a time, an insurgency and Al-Quaida killing American soldiers with improvised explosive devices, kidnapping, torturing, mutilating and booby trapping the bodies of soldiers taken from their supposed safety check points. A thousand dead Iraqi's a month due to the non- civil, civil war, inability to train Iraqi's to fight for their own future, No observable rebuilding of Iraq's infrastructure, electricity, water, oil lines ect, ect, ect.

I am an American, I am not afraid! There is not one thing the do nothing Republicans can say or do, I don't care how many terrorist attacks they will claim they have thwarted! I don't care how many times they raise the terror alert level from Yellow Elevated to Red. You have a much higher chance of being run over by a car while you cross the street than you do getting killed by a terrorist act! YOU DO NOT SCARE THIS AMERICAN!

So when I hear the right wingydingies thinking that a world war three scenario could help them save their skins in the fall election I can't help but wonder why any RIGHT THINKING AMERICAN would want any Republican over seeing or trying to carry out a WORLD WAR III.
