I wanted to give the people who volunteer at the Columbia County Humane Society kudos. They are doing a great job fund raising by many different activities.

I and my husband, and my friend attended the bingo night held in Columbia City at the community hall. There were many in attendance and it was a really fun event. The prizes for bingo ranged from $10.00 to $25.00 and the prizes that were raffled off were great too. They had gift certificates from many small businesses here in town; they had doggie and kitty baskets filled with delightful goodies that your pet would like, t-shirts, candy and along with a few other items.

Everyone had a great and fun evening. I suggest you call the Humane Society and find out when the next bingo event will be held. It is pretty affordable, for $10.00 you get three bingo cards and a lot of fun where the proceeds go to a worthwhile group and helps homeless pets. The local businesses that donated to the event should be thanked as well. It shows what a nice community we live in.

I intend to participate in the next event and I hope you do too.
