Newt Gingrich made some comments recently about the Wall Street protesters. Newt said these people need to take a bath, get a job and they had torn up parks that they had not paid for and used bathrooms that they had not paid for either. The republicans do not like the idea that people have finally woken up to the true colors of the republicans and the wealthiest 1% of Americans. Newt's comment about people needing to get a job, well that is easy for Newt to say when he is the person who has fed off the public trough like a starved pig all of his life. Most Americans want to work, but because of the policies of the republicans and their friends the greedy corporations there is no jobs in America these days, the greedy bastards have moved all their plants over seas to make more profits and to exploit third world countries. I lay the blame on the greedy 1% and the entire Republican Party, who would rather ruin America completely than support the idea that everyone should be able to receive a decent wage, send their kids to college, and support social security, Medicare and Medicaid programs. Lets level the playing field in America, most people do not want to be rich, all they want is to have health care, feed their kids and have a nice home and retirement. People are willing to work for these things but when they work all their lives and still live in poverty and they see the rich continuing to get richer and richer off the backs of the working people then it is time to make a huge change. Newts other idea to fire the school janitors all but one and have the poor kids do the janitor work after school, I guess the poor kids don't need to do their studies so they can get a good education and be part of a productive society, that rule is for rich kids only. And that is what the Wall Street protesters are trying to make happen, change. Our elected officials need to listen to what the people want and not what the 1% wants.

Newt said that the protesters did not pay for the parks, well I am a protester and I have paid taxes all my life and now that we are retired we still pay taxes, and so has many other people so I guess all the protesters paid for those parks many times over. Besides when does ones social standing or wage earning deem whether a person has the right to protest in America, I understand that the republicans and the corporations want that to be the rule, but so far they have failed in this point and will continue to fail because there is enough savvy people in America that will stand up against the tyranny of the far right and their corporate rulers.

When election time comes, make your voices heard, get out and VOTE. Vote the republicans out and get people in office that has all the people's best interest at heart, instead of only the interest of the One Percent.
