Should a child suffer from the same results of Botox gone wrong?

Everyone is talking about the mother who injected botox into her 8-year-old daughter so she would not have wrinkles for her beauty pageant. What is the matter with people who feel it necessary to have injections, and surgeries in order to think that they need to look better or younger especially doing this to their children? We are all different in shape and size. Some of us age faster than others, for instance some people go bald at 25 while other people have a full head of hair when they are 80+, some people go gray at 30 while it may take others to get gray in their middle 50's. Some of us are chubby while some are slim, your body looks are determined mostly by genetics so the way you look or age is predestined and why fight it, and it is just the way it is, be happy that you are alive and healthy others may not be so lucky.

Back to the mother's and dads and the beauty pageants, why would anyone in their right mind want their daughter to be dressed up and made up at various young age's to look like a prostitute? The excuse these people use is that the children want to do this, what baby or little kid even knows or understands what a beauty pageant is unless someone has involved them into it. I happened to watch a TV show on little kids beauty pageants and it was certainly apparent that it was the parent's trip to do these pageants. The kids acted like spoiled brats and were ill mannered, selfish, and down right mean to the other little girls in hopes that they would win the contest. When the kid lost they threw fits, cried and made nasty comments about the other little girls, these children threw things, told their parents to shut up, and they hit their so-called adult family members and stomped out of rooms.

These actions are not the kid's fault but those of their parent's who push and pressure these kids to the point of abuse. This dream of winning a pageant is a dream of the parents, a dream that they could not achieve so they are living their dream through their little girls. Most of the parents spend tens of thousands of dollars on outfits for these kids and events, some parents or I should say usually the dad often times working two jobs in order to pay the expenses of the pageants. Wouldn't it be nice if they put that money in the bank for a good education? Or some counseling for the parents, because they surely need it. These girls will probably need counseling in the future too, in order to bring back their self worth.

The pictures of the girls made up are a sexual stimulate to pedophiles and could cause them to act out their fantasies on some other helpless child.

A child needs to be a kid and do kid things not be 5 going on 25. I say shame on the parents of the little kid beauty pageants. Let your kid experience a normal life while growing up, they will have plenty of time to worry about how they look, and they will have enough peer pressure to deal with in this day in age don't add to it.
