The bid for the White House has started in frenzy for the Republicans, all the old has beens never was political bottom feeders have once again began to surface to try and unseat president Obama in the 2012 election.
The Republican nut case that has decided to run is Newt Gingrich remember him? He was a former Speaker of the House. Gingrich was one of those holier than thou far right Christian republicans who condemned others for their lack of morals. Gingrich is a hypocrite had a problem keeping his trousers zipped and had several affairs while he was married to his first, and second wives his adulterous adventures caused the end to both of his marriages. Gingrich explained why he had these affairs. Gingrich offered this information to why he had affairs; he said that he was partially driven by how passionate he felt about the United States. He must have been listening to Fox News or Rush Limbaugh and waving the flag while he was partaking in his after hour's recreation.

Gingrich has ask for forgiveness from God so that makes it ok, give me a break, Gingrich was screaming impeachment when President Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky broke in the news. All the while Gingrich was having an affair with his current wife while he was married to his second wife. Republicans have a knack for finding religion and asking for forgiveness from God for their wrong doings when it is convenient.

Gingrich is a real piece of work he served divorce papers to his first wife while she was in the hospital having cancer treatments, and proposed to his second wife while he was still married to wife number one. Gingrich goes through women like most people change underwear, and he is still the darling of the evangelical right. But then profess faith to Jesus Christ and that will allow a multitude of sins to be over looked or forgotten as long as you bash gays, liberals, and feminists. After all you are holier than everyone else.

Gingrich may go down in history as the only politician that has used the excuse that his love for his country caused him to cheat on his wife, wives. I guess everyone wants to be remembered for something. It will be interesting to see if the Christian or Evangelical population will support someone who is morally bankrupt. All I can say is the late night comedians will have a field day with Gingrich. In my opinion he is not a legitimate contender and will not be an issue.
