I really did not need Social Security after all.

The Republicans are on a mission to destroy the Obama administration; their hatred for President Obama is visible every day. While their agenda is to keep the president from being re-elected in 2012 their assault on social programs, and environmental polices are on their agenda as well. Republicans want to roll back green house emission standards so the first thing they will be doing is to attack the Environmental Protection Agency. The only people who will benefit from rolling back green house emission will be corporate polluters the friends of many in the House and Senate.

The second thing the republicans are trying to do is to raise the retirement age, and then implement a means test for older Americans who are at retirement age, they want to make people take a TEST TO SEE WHETHER THEY ACTUALLY NEED Social Security, if you have to much income then you will not be allowed to collect social security even though you worked all your life and paid into the program, this sounds a little bit like a King taking away things from their subjects. You can be assured that the "test" will benefit corporations one way or the other, the well off will be given more huge tax breaks while the middle class will take the blunt of tax increases to make up for the tax breaks for the rich. The best way to keep control of the masses is to keep them poor, only enough money pay check to paycheck, keep education away from the masses, if you keep people ignorant control is much easier, keep people unhealthy, do away with health care for all, again easier to control if you are unhealthy and trying to pay for medical bills, all Republican tactics that work.
Republican elected officials have health care supplied to them by the government you know paid by every American but they do not want the average American to have health care, again its ok for me but not you, typical republican attitude.

Republicans tend to talk out both sides of their lying mouths placing the blame for the poor economy on the Obama presidency, while Obama has not been a true friend to the people who elected him and I am personally a little disappointed with the president and his attitude towards his grass root base and the unions. I can not sit by and not mention that Obama inherited the poor economy from republican president GW Bush, Obama inherited two wars, Iraq and Afghanistan both to which the American coffers are pouring several hundred million dollars into these two countries daily and including massive reconstruction to the war devastated areas. Both to which Vice president Chaney and Bush have made billions from these two private little wars with their company Halliburton. Republicans blame Obama for the Tarp Plan sorry folks that was a GW Bush plan and one that was started and to take in affect after Bush left office.

The talking points from the republicans has nothing to do with trying to improve America, help Americans or simply trying to do the right thing. The only thing they are doing "right" is improving profits for corporations, while impoverishing more middle class and below average wage earner Americans who are struggling to make ends meet every day in America.

I hope the American people realize that the republicans have no interest in what is good for the American people but hold their interest for the good of corporate America who controls America her politics and her policies. Wake up America, republicans are not your friends but rather a pack of demons that are ready to devour you at any minute if you do not keep your guard up. Listen to what the republicans are saying, get involved and educate your self on the issues and most important VOTE.
