I do not blame President Obama for our poor economy; I do blame George Bush and Chaney. But most of all I blame all the republicans and the democrats alike. The reason the working middle class is in such a mess is because both parties HAVE SOLD OUT TO CORPORATE America. There is no real difference between the parties any more. To be fair there are a few democrats that have not sold out but unfortunately the few who work to help the middleclass gets very little done because they do not have the backing from the majority of the party.

America has been in a decline for the past 30+ years, ever since we started allowing the outsourcing of our jobs to third world countries the middle class has suffered, and corporate America has made record profits because they do not have to pay decent wages, benefits, or taxes.

Politicians in Washington DC have been arguing that the republicans are road blocking the democrats job retraining programs. Big deal, retrain a worker to do what? Corporate America out sources most of all the good jobs. So now the government wants to retrain a worker to do something else and most likely at a fraction of their previous wages. All the government has to do is stop the outsourcing of jobs, and make it so the corporations have to bring manufacturing jobs back in the US. The plan would be very simple, tax the corporation so stiff if they have their industry out side of the US, if the corporation stays here make them pay a reduced tax. It is time Washington starts working for the average person in the US instead of supporting corporate greed. Bring back the tariffs!

Some people believe if we produce products here in America the price would be too costly for people to buy the product, true the price would be a bit more, but I would rather pay more for an item that has been built under strict guidelines, or food processed under sanity conditions than buy food from a country like China that has no guidelines and have my self or my family poisoned by contaminated foods, or have my kid get lead poisoning. I think paying a bit more to ensure the health of my family would be well worth the increase in price. Besides we would be supporting out country not a foreign one.

People who buy at Wal -mart for example pay around $8 for a plain ole Tee shirt, the shirt is of inferior quality and will not last very long and the person then has to go back and purchase another Tee shirt for another $8. Now if the person would have bought a better quality T lets say for $12 and it lasts twice as long the person is ahead $6, and has supported American workers who just happen to be a neighbor who pays into the same school, supports the same city or town.

The fix to Americans problems are not complicated, we need to support Americans first. Secondly as Americans we have grown into greedy selfish people, people who have been trained to be a I want now society instead of a what I need society.
