While most Americas are trying to cope with the rising fuel costs, the inflated food prices, the increase in heating and cooling bills, the exuberant cost of health insurance, that is if they can afford insurance at all, and trying to save enough money through out the year to pay their property taxes. Presidential candidate senator John McCain and his wife Cindy, wealthy heiress to the Anheuser-Busch beer company, her worth is about 100 million, they own 7 houses and have defaulted on their property taxes for the last 4 years in California, owing $6744.00 and another $1742.00 due July 1,08 The excuse that they are using is that when your rich it is hard to remember what bills that need paying not like when your poor and its hard to just pay a bill. Is this the kind of man that we want for president of the United States? A man, who cant remember to pay his property taxes? Taxes which support our schools, police and our firemen and other social services. Maybe forgetting to pay his taxes was not deliberate after all; McCain is getting up there in years. You would think someone as rich as the McCain's could possibly afford to pay someone to go through and pay their bills for them. Hell, they could even create a job for some poor struggling soul.
I guess McCain is not only a flip flopper, a liar; he is now a tax evader!!!
McCain has no idea what the average American lives like nor does he understand the hardships that poor families face every day in this country, while John and Cindy dine at the finest restaurants, fly in fancy jets and are chauffeured around the cities, the poor in America are living on the streets, eating out of garbage cans, many are forced to take up illegal professions just to survive, these people are not criminals many are whole families who have lost everything because of the hard economic times. The mentally ill are forced to live on the streets as well, to sick to remember to take their medicines and to poor too afford to buy it. All the while McCain focus's on Bush's private little war. Promising to stay the course even if it takes 100 years. Let America crumble into total degradation. To hell with your fellow American's let them root hog or die. But always take care of your rich corporate friends and lets not forget one of McCain's bosom buddies the telecommunications.
For the past year we have been in a recession even if politicians and the media denied it and right now we are on the tip of the iceberg entering in to a depression and I am afraid that it will only get worse. Factories are shutting down, people losing their jobs, people are losing their homes and McCain's answer is free trade with South America and off shore drilling. I am afraid that if McCain by chance wins the presidency in November that the United States will suffer total economic collapse. This collapse will be far greater in nature than the Great Depression.
I think people should try and prepare for the worst, every payday buy extra canned goods, paper products the price will only go up and items may get hard to find, with the price of gas the truckers are having a hard time affording to buy the fuel for their trucks. Think ahead a little bit, even if I am wrong you can always use the products that you have stocked up on.
