"No way," says Walt. "You aren't going to give them something for free that we have to pay for."
Mary is not about to take any nonsense. "You can play all you want with statistics, but no one is mailing me cholesterol and no one is forcing me to smoke either. I know what I eat, and what I smoke. I don't know what's coming through the mail. Claudia, you and Bill just don't seem to get it. I want to be safe, and as long as there are some nuts mailing out diseases, then I am not going to be safe."
"No," sighs Claudia. "I guess I just don't get it, and you are certainly right. None of us will ever be safe."
Walt and Mary are both good friends of ours. It is amazing how different people can see things so differently and still remain friends.
